Coronavirus Message

By this time, you've begun to feel the significant impacts that the COVID-19 threat has had on our community. We hope you and your family are safe and are taking the necessary precautions to stay well.

In the midst of event cancellations, school closings, and other social distancing efforts, many of our children will be missing out on school lunches and backpack programs, and many of our neighbors may have their hours and wages cut as businesses close or see lower sales. While many of us had the opportunity to ensure our pantries were stocked over the past few days, the seniors in our community, living on fixed incomes, likely had no room in their budgets to do so. These neighbors may be joining the 450+ families each month who already depend on charities to keep their pantries stocked.

FHCCS and Services of Hope are preparing to serve these families in coming days and weeks, and we need your help. Your donation of $25 ensures that a family of four can receive the groceries they need when they visit Services of Hope. Donations are easy to make online and will have an immediate impact in our community.

Also, if you're having trouble putting food on the table for you or your family or need any other social services please contact Services of Hope.

Thank you for your support to our neighbors who are especially vulnerable during this crisis.

We are on limited hours so please call 214-276-0235. Leave a message, it will be returned!

As a community organization, we strive to do everything we can to preserve the safety and health of our guests, volunteers, staff, and community.

Services of Hope/Financial Hope Credit Counseling Services

SOH/FHCCS is offering our employees the ability to work remotely when possible. Teams will be communicating directly regarding needs to continue the above-mentioned operations.  Our staff will be available by phone or email if you have concerns and questions.

Community

While volunteer opportunities are limited, we need our community now more than ever. Here are four ways you can help:

  1. Give: This transition may increase costs for 6 Stones, so your financial support during this time period will be significant. Please feel free to donate online at: https://www.servicesofhope.org/donate/

  2. Donations: Monetary donations will help us most at this time. Due to limited volunteer numbers and the need for social distancing, please limit donations of clothing and other items at this time.

  3. Be Kind and Pray: We ask that you be kind to one another and pray for our neighbors and community during this time.

  4. We have not been given a spirit of fear, but a spirit of hope. SOH/FHCCS are a Spark of Hope and we look forward to continuing to work together to transform lives, homes, and our community with washed hands!
